Summary
The project gathers 100 outstanding university students from all over the world with 40 decision makers for 3 days in Buenos Aires, to debate and dialogue, for the development of South America.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
The project is contributing to the generation of responsible leaders in South America, considering that many problems in the region are caused by leadership issues. The forum offers a space unique in the region, where distinguished leaders of today can train and mentor the leaders of tomorrow. Besides this exchange and training with these 40 leaders, students also network and strong international bonds are formed.
How will this project solve this problem?
South American Business Forum consists in 3 days of activities. Keynotes the first day set the basis for debate, workshops in smaller groups the second day allow for deeper discussion and reflection and on the third day a final closing activity.
Potential Long Term Impact
Each year the project will encourage 100 university students to think about topics of global relevance and particularly applicable to the reality of South America. By discussing and debating now, better decisions will be taken in fhe future.
Project Message
"The South American Business Forum was the best academic program I have attended in many years." "There are few student conferences as dynamic, and none of them in as awesome a city as Buenos Aires."
- Rob Britton, SABF 2006 & 2007 Speaker
