Despite the economic growth that Ollantaytambo has undergone in recent years, socio-economic inequalities and deficiencies in the educational sphere continue to be detected. The main challenges that children in our community face in the educational sphere are: - Lack of motivation to learn - Learning difficulties. - Limited capacity to concentrate. - Lack of social skills. - Issues with self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-image.
The Scholarship fund is an essential resource that will guarantee that our learning community, comprising families and students, can continue to access a comprehensive program of studies and the necessary infrastructure and technology. Moreover, it will provide crucial psychological support to enable students to develop the skills and confidence required to become leaders in a rapidly changing world. By tackling the social and educational challenges we can work towards a brighter future for all.
The graduate of Kuska School will be an autonomous, creative, and compassionate individual with a conscious, open, reflective, and critical mindset. They will have developed, known, and competently managed their intellectual and emotional abilities and skills, while living in balanced coexistence with themselves and their surroundings. We firmly believe that education is key to solving so many of the issues in our community.
