TRDC will promote education and safe health for children living in fluorosis affected villages of Pavagada, India through Remedial Education, awareness on health and safe drinking water
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
181 villages of Pavagada Taluk in Karnataka, India is the most neglected and backward taluk with a burning issue of fluorosis causing retinal, dental and muscular disorders among children aged 4 -18 years. Because of frequent health problems, children undergo psychological stress and need support. Adequate measures needed to support children with remedial education, health care and safe drinking water to boost their self confidence and learning ability.
How will this project solve this problem?
With 10 years of experience, TRDC would address the problem of children with remedial education, health care and promotion of safe drinking water mechanisms in schools to regain health & continue education by closely working with communities/schools
Potential Long Term Impact
We will support 1500 children with education, health and safe drinking water. This action would help Pavagada region to overcome basic necessities for children who are the backbones to build a progressive and prosperous rural community
