This project provides 250 youths from single/poor parents or orphans with education and livelihood opportunities in rural Kenya.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
This project is addressing Poverty in Kaplamai Division of Trans-nzoia district Kenya. This project is offering education, sponsorship, lifeskills, counselling, Entrepreneurship skills, Internships, sports and recreation. When these youth are educated, they will get job opportunities and life skills, it will reduce the cycle of poverty and crime
How will this project solve this problem?
If we provide education scholarships, we will be able to reduce illiteracy .If we provide sports and recreation, we reduce anti-social acts. If we provide training, this leads to self-reliance.
Potential Long Term Impact
This project will educate and offer livehood opportunities for 250 youths allow them to be self reliant and support their families and or brothers/ sisters who are poor.This will break the cycle of poverty in the community
Project Message
I never dreamt of playing for the Kenya National Women Soccer Team besides completing school. Am now able to earn a living and support my sisters and brothers to go to school. Thanks to TYSA!
