AfricAid’s School Desks for Losinoni project will provide funding for school desks for the primary school classrooms in the village of Losinoni in Tanzania
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
Losinoni Village’s primary school is the home to 750 young Tanzanian children – 750 kids that have to fit into just seven classrooms, with 4 or 5 students to a bench desk. This project aims to equip the school with 100 new desks, 15 tables, and 15 chairs.
How will this project solve this problem?
Providing desks to foster better educational environments.
Potential Long Term Impact
This project will give 750 kids every year a classroom environment in which they can more effectively learn and will encourage them to complete their education.
