To improve health, our world needs leaders who engage in community-driven, collaborative, and sustainable approaches. GlobeMed partners university students with grassroots organizations that model this kind of leadership. Through GlobeMed partnerships, students support community-driven health projects while developing their skills as future leaders for global health.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

The massive disparities that continue to exist between the rich and poor are unjust. We have the responsibility and opportunity to give everyone the chance to live a healthy life. To improve health in the 21st century, our world needs a new generation of leaders who can foster community-driven, collaborative, sustainable solutions.

How will this project solve this problem?

GlobeMed cultivates the next generation of leaders by partnering university chapters with grassroots organizations working on the front lines of global health. These high-impact organizations are led by grassroots changemakers who put their communities at the center of change. Through GlobeMed partnerships, students support community-driven health projects, learn through hands-on experience, and develop their skills as future leaders for global health.

Potential Long Term Impact

Our GlobeMed graduates enter the world understanding that "we" is more powerful than "I," and holding themselves accountable to sustainable impact. Your investment today will allow us to transform 2,000 talented students into exceptional leaders with a lifelong commitment to global health.
