Family with Gadyen Dlo System

This family has the bucket system (5-gallon bucket with spigot) which is used to treat their water. They add one capful of Gadyen Dlo to each 5 gallons of water, wait 30 minutes, and drink!

Water Source: Spring

Most families gather their water from a nature spring or river. The majority of these sources are contaminated and unsafe to drink. Rural families have no other choice but to drink this water.

Each family entered in the program recieves a five-gallon bucket which has a spigot, lid, and label which tells them how to treat their water with Gadyen Dlo. 8 oz bottles of Gadyen Dlo are sold for less than 25 cents and last a family of five forty days.
