Challenge

The Asiafo Amanfro Community School has 5 classes but only 3 classrooms. The school has not been updated since it 2009 and needs to expand to account for the increase in attendance. During the rainy seasons, classrooms flood and classes are delayed or cancelled. Furthermore, due to the open structure students are often distracted by other classes activities.

Solution

Classrooms for Community is a project that will expand the school in order for more children to attend school. By adding walls and updating the classrooms, students will be able to receive a better quality education.

Long-Term Impact

We will be ready to accomodate more children and even start our adult education classes (most adults are illiterate). The school expansion will encourage education and opportunity at all ages.
