Summary

Children's Land sponsors 120 colombian children from Medellín and Tadó in the exercise of active and responsible citizenship, respect for the environment and interculturality.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

Children from Tadó and Medellín live in precarious situations; llittle access to health and education and lack of adecuate spaces for culture and recreation have limited their participation in society and their development as citizens. How will this project solve this problem?

Workshops and activities for children between the age of 6 and 12 that focus on environmental health, the appropriate use of natural resources and artistic expression.

Potential Long Term Impact

This project will offer a healthy and appropriate space for education and recreation to 120 children from Medellín and Tadó, while promoting them as active and responsible citizens.

"During these 5 years we are going to take very good care of the land: not throwing garbage in the stream or on the ground, not damaging the plants or the trees"
