The project will provide free training in Information Technology courses to 1120 disadvantaged students particularly women & rural folks in Thane District in India to empower them through employment.
Thane has 235000 people from disadvantaged section below poverty line, living in rural areas.A majority of them are unemployed inspite of having minimum education,as they cannot afford the fees of job oriented courses & are caught in viscious circle of poverty & stunted growth.Since 1994 we have helped many people with free training in Information Technology courses & empowered them through employment.The project will help more than 1120 affected people by bringing them in the mainstream.
The project will provide training by professionals and books free of cost to the disadvantaged sections and enable them with government certification which in turn will provide them with job opportunities in public as well as private sector.
The project will educate 1120 people and expand their horizons through employment, thus decreasing the digital divide and as women and rural folks are targeted communities at large will be benefited through increase standard of living.
