This project will provide a full year of education for Schnaidine. Schnaidine is almost five. Her mother abandoned her shortly after birth, and she lived with her grandmother. But her grandmother had ten other kids to look after, so she left Schnaidine and her older sister Chanini at the orphanage. Schnaidine has a big personality - she can really hold her own even with the boys! With your help, we'll be able to provide her with the education she needs to build a secure future.
As an orphan, Schnaidine is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There are no free schools in Port au Prince available, so the orphanage must pay for the kids in its care to attend school. Lack of education locks kids like Schnaidine into a cycle of poverty. Ensuring access to school not only helps Schnaidine, but strengthens Haitian communities in the long-term.
Schnaidine has lived her whole life in poverty. She needs a quality education to find a prosperous future. Your donations will give her that education and set her on the road to a brighter tomorrow.
Access to education will give Schnaidine the skills she needs to find a stable job and escape poverty when she's older.
