Summary

Assist Murtalas a young entrepreneur with her venture! Opening a computer repair center will solve many of the local community's basic computer repair needs at an affordable cost, allowing computers to be repaired locally instead of having to be shipped out for repairs for a higher expanse. The center will offer computer training for local schools that currently cannot afford full time computer teachers, giving students their first experience with computers.

Challenge

Computers have become a vital part of the growing Yewela community, unfortunately their advancement within the community has been stymied due to a lack of computer repair options within the surrounding area, especially with basic hardware repairs such as the cooling fans breaking. These problems have cause schools to stop purchasing computers & businesses from becoming computer based slowing economic growth this business will solve that by giving them a viable and affordable repair option.

Solution

This business will solve the computer repair problems by offering affordable computer repairs within the community but will also work to combat the lack of computer education programs within the local schools by offering computer education classes as a service through the business. This will allow schools who cannot afford full time computer teachers or computers to still teach students about the computers which almost all of the future jobs will involve using.

Long-Term Impact

Develop independent profit-generating businesses that serve as models for growth in surrounding communities. Project beneficiaries fill voids in the local economy while improving their families' health, education and financial stability. Previous leaders have sent their brothers, sisters and children to school, helped invest in new businesses within the community, offered new services to community members such as the disabled, establishing infrastructure for the future growth of Nigeria.
