Marcela's quest for a life-changing education received a huge boost over the holidays from you!  What a wonderful New Year's gift your donations are to Marcela's future.  Finding the funding has been a challenge, and Marcela is close to her goal.  She has around $3,000 still needed for the current year.

Marcela Will Have a Special Opportunity with visiting U.S. Dental Hygiene & Nursing Students:

This fall Marcela will venture out to the rural areas with a team from the U.S. to give screening to the indigenous population.  This experience will be a once-in-a-lifetime, and we are proud to give Marcela this chance to learn first-hand how intricately tied dental and overall health can be.  Marcela is preparing for this, and she is excited that she will be meeting and working with students from the Shoreline Community College in Washington state.

First of all I want to say hello.  Then I want to let you know that now I am more involved with the dental hygiene schooling program at Smiles Forever.

Since I have no economical resources, this opportunity is one-in-a-million!

I love the dental hygiene career.  Everyday I learn more and more like about mixed dentition and the diseases of the mouth. This I never heard of before, and I think it is very important to know.

I have found a lot of support and love from the staff at Smiles Forever.  They treat me with respect, and for the first time I feel like I belong somewhere.
