The project is enhanced community people's easy traveling access in the community for their daily travels. Especially children in Chreav commune can access easily to Salariin Kampuchea Learning Center for their study. The roads to the learning center become muddy and have bumpy roads. To solve these, we refill and add red earth to muddy and bumpy places. Good roads motivate and encourage children to attend classes regularly during the rainy season. It is a huge change for community impact.
Siem Reap city recently is constructed with good road by the government. However, roads in outskirt areas where Salariin Kampuchea school is located are not developed and children also have difficulties traveling to the learning center during the rainy season. The rainy season in Cambodia starts from June to October. Normally, the roads to Salariin Kampuchea Learning Center are fixed by the learning center and community people who live near by the center.
The project solves difficult traveling with a muddy and bumpy path during the rainy season to Salariin Kampuchea Learning Center and community people who live nearby. The roads will be fixed are connected to the main roads to the city center and to local marketing. So the community parents and children can have better-living conditions for their daily lives. The kids are happy to cycle to and happy to attend the classes at our school.
The project will educate 400 Cambodian Children giving them the opportunity to obtain a good job or continue their education through University. We help them secure internships, vocational training & university places. By promoting the value of education in our communities, the children have a higher chance of finishing their formal education, giving the new generation the knowledge & skills to build a strong community and contribute to the local economy - working to end the cycle of poverty.
