Thank you all who supports and sponsored Grace. Thanks to your donation we could change Grace her future opportunities. Now she is attending Southern Cross High school and with your donations we are able to pay the gap between her bursary and the school fees. We also paid for her uniform and school supplies.
She is doing really well at school; especially science and mathematics are her strong subjects. She is learning so many new things she can’t even explain. I asked her what the biggest difference is between her old school in the rural area and her new school. She answered that everybody is equal and she is treated with respect by teachers and students. The fact that she is taught in English is helping her a lot as well, compared to the local language she was struggling with. She made some really good friends and is a real teenager. Her biggest dream is still to become a forensic scientist and we will try and guide and support her all the way.
Even though we didn’t reach the whole target of the budget on GlobalGiving, we can support her for the rest of the school year. We will keep everybody up to date on Grace her progress on our Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/DaktariYEP
Thank you again for all your support, it is highly appreciated by us and of course by Grace and her family!
