Fatmata needs microfinance funds to start a small business selling local dried and smoked fish. This project will provide the needed funds for her to start her business and become independent. Fatmata has been doing a small scale business since she was a teenage selling dry/smoked fish and opening a small business has been a long-time dream. Opening a small business will help her bridge the opportunity gap and take her to the next level.
The funds will provide the needed resources for Fatmata to start her business. She needs a range of fish processing ingredients, equipment and furniture. With these items, she will be able to start her business. This will help transition Fatmata into her new chosen career and make a huge difference in her life.
This project will help Fatmata rise from poverty, become productive and self-reliant, and win the respect of people in the community. Support for Fatmata will help change her life.
Owning her own business will help build Fatmata's self-esteem, provide the means for her to become independent, help benefit the community by providing needed goods and services, and enable her to offer future employment for others.
