Greetings,
Thank you for your support towards Mountains of Hope Help 50 teenage girls fuflfil Education dream, this project is still receiving more donations but so far with the 118 dollars we have received from Globalgiving, we have been able to purchase 200 sanitary pads for the first phase of this project, 66 school girls in Kafumu community where we work have benefited including 15 mothers, this means that we will exceed our target once we hit our target of raising $990 this week from Globalgiving.
Our community has approximately 300 school girls, and 90% of them can not afford sanitary pads.
"Am called Shanita, am happy to receive these sanitary pads to enable me keep my self clean when I go through menstration periods, last term I used a piece of cloth which made me uncofrtable because I could not walk normally, it was big and hot"
