This project will help an aspiring Naa from a very poor background. She needs scholarship support to be able attends a school each year. There is only one free public school in Gbawe, which is overcrowded with up to 65 children per class. High unemployment and illiteracy in the area means local parents are unable to afford good quality schools which are fee paying. We will provide motivated, hardworking students like Naa-Dromo with a scholarship to good quality schools in Ghana.

We are thankful to the donors who has helped us and that we will take Naa back to school on October 1, 2014. Currently we have raised $325 from the budget of $1,100. We still need $775 to be able to support her fully for the 2014/2015 academic year and this well help to pay for school fees, school lunch fee and school supplies. Naa, as she has been identified in the community as impoverished and her family will not able to send Naa to school and a good quality school without help.
It is expected that children like Naa who would otherwise dropout from the school system due to circumstances beyond her control, would now through the project grow to become responsible citizens and lead a normal life and contribute to the community development instead of becoming unemployed, thieves and other social misfits. This will enable Naa to create a better future for herself and her entire family.
