Two months professional training for handicrafts (paper mache, ceramic works and traditional Rajasthani Wall Hangings) will be given to the 15 Rural deprived girls of 14 to 24 age-group of Pisangan block, Ajmer , as well as deprived marginalized girls will be trained in capacity building, where from they will be self-sufficient.
There are so many social malpractices in Pisangan block of Ajmer District, Rajasthan, India. Agriculture is the only source of employment. Villagers have to depend on monsoon due to lack of irrigation water. Child marriage, dowry system, parda system and many other social problems are prevailing in the rural areas because of which poor girls have to face problems to get equal opportunities of education. The rural girls are far away from the infrastructure due to the economic crunch.
Rajasthan is famous for its renowned handicrafts in the whole world. The girls will gets its benefit through Handicraft training because there is a high demand of Rajasthani handicrafts in the country and abroad. 15 girls of deprived community will establish self-employment through handicraft training. The girls will get help at their homes to strengthen the livelihood of their families. and The will be empowerment of rural Girls.
Through handicraft professional education project their ( Marginalized rural Girls ) living standards will be improved and poverty will be reduced. These girls will develop the livelihood at their homes by handicraft self-employment.
