It was good to see Eve going back to school again, your $100 contribution plus her contribution of $300 which she got through washing for people enabled her complete las semester's tuition, she went knocking on people doors!!! "Am Eve, I want to wash your clothes, am looking for money to take me back to school for a new semester", said Eve while introducing her self.
However, Eve has only one remaining semester and she will be done with her course, thanks for making a great contribution towards her future.
Today there are 850 million girls in the world. If you want to change the world, invest in a girl. If she stays in school, remains healthy, and gains real skills, she will marry later, have fewer and healthier children and earn an income she will invest back into her family – breaking the cycle of poverty. Uganda’s girls should be engaged in society, they should have the opportunity for friendships and mentoring so they can participate in the decision-making and be prepared to lead. Girls should have access to education opportunities, and health information and services. Girls should be protected from sexual and other physical and emotional abuse.
Eve will need our support again in the next last semester, Mountains of Hhope has posted a project on Globalgiving to enable her complete her studies. Will you help her again?
