The single parented/deprived children /children of people in conflict with law in our home are admitted to the nearby school in age appropriate classes. To enable them to continue their education this project is required. The fund support we get through this project will meet out the education expenses (school fees, uniforms, guide books, notebooks and other learning materials) of these children.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
The children in the crime prone areas are vulnerable to abuse due to their difficult circumstances. This is more so when the child is single-parented or when the parent is in conflict with law. They are influenced by the juvenile attitude of friends, by the arrests of parents and forced to discontinue their studies. The impact of neighbourhood and friends who involve in activities conflicting with law determine the child's attitude too. The children are either abused or become juvenile delinquents
How will this project solve this problem?
The children's safety is the first priority and mentoring them in a safe environment will protect them from abuses and prevent them from turning into juvenile delinquents. The project aims at giving them a feeling of belonging and affection. The children are provided with a nutritious meal, decent cloth, medicines required and safe shelter. They are sent to the school nearby and are coached in the evenings. They are also provided with life skills to face the world once they become adults.
Potential Long Term Impact
The project will raise 25 educated citizens with confidence and courage to build a bright future for themselves and people around them. These children are saved from juvenile delinquency and child abuse. Which in future will save their generation from involving in activities that conflict with law. This is a contribution towards a crime free society.

Every microproject is intended to use the donations it receives in accordance with its stated description; however, it is important to provide project leaders with the flexibility to maximize the potential benefit from the donations they receive. This means that your donation may be used as a part of the main project that supports this microproject, specifically Safe shelter & food for deprived children in India. In this event, the project leader is required to post an update to the microproject detailing the results and reasons behind this change.
If you or any other donor is unhappy with the way their funds have been used, he or she can reallocate their donation using the GlobalGiving guarantee.
