GCC is developing an interactive e-learning platform to enable youth to engage, dialogue, and problem-solve on global poverty issues. Students will be able to explore content on water, hunger, climate change, education, and more through info-graphics, videos, polls, and field challenges. Through student message boards, youth from diverse communities will be able to connect and collaborate on creative projects to solve global poverty.
US youth need greater tools to learn about complex global issues that affect the world and their community and to be able to translate that knowledge to meaningful social action.
GCC's e-learning platform will engage youth to think creatively beyond bake sale fundraisers to better equip young people to understand the challenges facing the developing world and to foster appropriate and innovative solutions to tackling them.
We will reach 50 schools across the US to explore, speak out, and take action on a wide range of global poverty issues so they can be effective world leaders, advocates, and change-makers for a better tomorrow.
