Join CoderDojo's first Pi Day fundraising campaign. In the lead up to March 14, 2021 (3.14!), we ask for your support to empower young people worldwide to learn computing and become confident, creative digital makers.
In a world increasingly shaped by digital technologies, too many young people are growing up without the opportunities to learn how to create with technology. As the pace of technological development accelerates, more and more people are being left behind. That affects their job prospects, limits the economic potential of their communities, and consigns them to being consumers of digital technologies, not active creators or agents.
With support from the Global Giving community, we will provide CoderDojo learners with hundreds of free, high-quality coding and digital making projects available in dozens of languages. This learning resource helps young people develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive in today's technology-driven world.
Engage millions of young people in learning computing and digital making skills, and support them to learn independently and online at a time when schools and clubs remain disrupted due to COVID-19. Together with our supporters, the CoderDojo Foundation can equip young people with the technology skills they need to build a better future for us all.
