Pridenoshame remains committed to sustaining the employment of our dedicated team members. We extend our support to the child of one employee who is grappling with a back-related illness, hindering his ability to walk. To address this, we have initiated and facilitated transportation, along with consultations with medical professionals, and are on the verge of commencing regular therapy.
Ensuring the well-being of our team, Pridenoshame provides daily lunches and contributes to transportation expenses for employees residing at a distance from the UZIMA production unit. Furthermore, we actively assist in locating suitable schooling opportunities for the children of our employees through collaboration with other organizations.
Our core mission of producing sanitary pads persists, and we have initiated usage tests for young mothers in need.
We are grateful to report that we have successfully garnered $50,000 from individual donors and private organizations. However, our journey is far from over. We still need $150,000 to secure funds for raw materials and to acquire a new production machine that meets industry standards, as our current one falls short.
We humbly seek your continued support to help us collect the remaining funds necessary to sustain and expand our mission. Your contribution, no matter big or small, will play a vital role in multiplying the impact of our efforts. Together, let's make a lasting difference in the lives of women refugees in Rwanda and their families. Your support is not just a donation; it's an investment in empowerment, resilience, and positive change. Join us in shaping a brighter future for all refugee women.
