We have been providing free English classes for the Ao Luk community at the Ao Luk Non-Formal Education Center starting again on Monday. Students came out to study English in levels 1-6, taught by GVI volunteers, interns and staff. On Monday, new TEFL volunteers observe their TEFL trainers teach a demo lesson. On Tuesday, the trainees had the opportunity to teach their portion of a 90 minute lesson.
It has been a rainy few days in Ao Luk preventing a number of students from showing up to classes. However, some of the harder core students didn't let a little rain stop them from coming out to learn English and classes went on as scheduled.
