LSEG Enhances Impact: Empowers Childhope PH Street Educators with Microsoft Excel Training

By Jem Tumbaga | Resource Mobilization and Communication Officer

Manila City, February 15, 2024 — In a significant stride towards empowering educators for a greater impact, the London Stock Exchange Group conducted a comprehensive "Training the Trainers" session on Microsoft Excel for Childhope Philippines' street educators. The event took place on February 15, 2024, at the Asian Social Institute, Manila City.

The primary objective of this training initiative was to upskill the street educators, providing them with essential knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The acquired skills will be instrumental in streamlining tasks related to updating client databases, managing session inventories, and recording pre and post-evaluation results.

Through this collaboration, the London Stock Exchange Group aims to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of Childhope Philippines' Street Education and Protection Program. By empowering the educators with technological tools, the goal is to enhance their ability to track and assess the progress of the programs aimed at supporting children in street situations.

The training program involved hands-on sessions, where educators gained practical insights into the functionalities of Microsoft Excel. The London Stock Exchange Group's commitment to social responsibility is demonstrated through initiatives like these, aiming to make a positive and sustainable impact on the communities they engage with.

Childhope Philippines expresses sincere gratitude to the London Stock Exchange Group for their commitment to education and skill development. This collaboration signifies a powerful synergy between corporate entities and non-profit organizations, working together towards a common goal of creating positive change.
