Lisa Burger - Project Manager for Africa

Lisa serves the Freeplay Foundation in the field on many projects. Working closely with our partner charities and donors, Lisa ensures that Lifeline radio distributions run smoothly and radio beneficiaries are well trained in how to maximize radio listening for information and education. GBM in Kenya is an addition to Lisa's work on long-term projects in Mozambique, Tanzania, and Zambia.

Wanjira Mathai - International Liaison for The Green Belt Movement

Wanjira directs international liaison affairs for The Green Belt Movement. Born in Kenya, she came to the USA to attend college, earning a BS from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and two Masters Degrees (International Health and Business Administration) from Emory University in Atlanta. For six years, Wanjira worked for The Carter Presidential Center's disease eradication programs.
