Here is a letter from Margaret thanking her sponsors.
***************************************************************************
Dear Sir or Madam, September, 2012
My name is Margaret Ngoma and I am currently attending Chalo Trust School. I am 16 years old and am in Grade 10. I live in Kalikiliki.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, my sponsors. You have shown your sincere kindness by lending a hand in my education and well-being. Your sponsorship has helped me to realize that dreams do come true and that I can be what I want to be. My family is secure knowing that my education is steady and now, on behalf of my family and myself, I pour out my humble thanks. Thank you and may the good Lord bless you.
I love all the sciences because I find them interesting. I also love Accounting, Math, and Religious Studies. I am interested in medicine and accounting studies, which I know are both interesting and helpful to society. I participate in sports, including netball and athletics and I attend JETS club and the Community Service club.
I joined KF through the usual lengthy but beneficial process through my primary school. I made use of this sponsorship by doing my very best, especially academically. The results of my efforts were shown by my record-breaking achievements in my final Junior Secondary exam. The KF students are good students, the staff is marvelous and very friendly. They are sure to help us in any way possible and the mentors are very good people who act as both parents and friends. My favorite memory of KF is and has long been the retreat at Ndubaluba. It was an unforgettable experience.
It is good to note and remember that there are people out there who are concerned about the underprivileged. You have shown your concern by stretching your hand towards my education. A lot of great things can be said about you, more than you can ever know, and I thank you for everything. God bless you and your families.
Most Sincerely,
Margaret Ngoma
