Hello and Happy New Year!
We are very excited about 2024 and the students are back in school, ready to learn! Some exciting things have taken place...
The oldest teacher, Mr. Akintoye Jetro, retired in December after 22 years of dedication. He's the first teacher to ever retire from the school! We congratulate him and thank him for his years of teaching.
One of our pending projects was to fix the school ceiling/roof and we were able to complete that project. Maintence of the facilities is an on-going feat and it's one of the many items we plan to complete for the school. Next is replacing the batteries for the Solar Panels.
Another project that held our attention was purchasing new desks. Due to the current financial crisis in Nigeria, one of the area schools closed down and some of the students transfered to our school. Because of that, we needed more desks and quite a number of the current desks we had were broken. I'm happy to report some students are beginning the new year learning on new desks!
Once again, we sincerely thank each and every one of you for all the support given to the school throughout the years. Here's to making 2024 a successful school year for the students!
