Specialized push-button telephone for blind users

We thank everyone who supports the project.

During the war in Ukraine, our software product was in demand not only among civilians, but also among military personnel who lost their sight during military operations.

BlindPhone as of February 15, 2024. the project team has done:

1. Improvement of Internet radio.

2. Improvements to the YouTube player program.

3. The functionality of working with the screen has been increased.

4. The functionality of working with the loudspeaker has been increased.

5. Improved functionality when selecting a melody.

The Contacts app has recently been updated, and contacts now load quickly. When new contacts are created, they are stored on the smartphone, and if you check the synchronization box, the contacts will also be stored in the Google cloud and will be synchronized with your other devices accordingly.

It is also convenient that when writing contacts in the phone book, or searching for contacts is accompanied by a visual display of the text on the screen. This allows beginners to use the help of sighted people.

Also, after the update, the calculator started working better. Now you can perform actions with the result of previous actions.

In the call log, in the call details, when copying a line with a number while holding down the asterisk, the clipboard already contains a number without spaces. Holding the down arrow on the home screen clears RAM.

Now pressing the green button in the blindphone market reports the first line of the comment to the application, instead of the first hundred characters.

You can now assign any contact number to speed dial, not just the default one.

The "Backup" item has been added to the speed dial menu.

Backup is now available in the Call History menu.
