Thank you so much for supporting the Purple Feet Foundation's thinc Program. Your generosity goes directly to support students in attending our week-long, residential experience in Valley Forge, PA. Last year we were able to bring students from Harrisburg (PA), Philadelphia (PA) and Prince George's County (MD), and this summer we will also be adding students from a district in Delaware or North Carolina.
The application for this year's thinc Program opens in two weeks on March 25!
Every year we have been able to expand the thinc Program and it is ONLY because of friends like you who give so generously.
Since the last Global Giving update, we launched our thinc Career Chats as another way of maintaining a connection with students who have attended past thinc Programs. These online interviews with people who have really interesting careers also serve to inspire students from all around the world who don't attend our thinc Program in person. Our last chat was with the senior editor of X-Men at Marvel Entertainment, and we had classes from FL, IL, MD, MO, PA, TX and Canada participate.
