To help at-risk children, youth, families and individuals in our community improve their lives by providing educational programs, food, clothing and enrichment opportunities.
Organization with 4 distinct programs; Daycare uses a “learn through play” approach, toddlers and preschoolers are able to explore many different aspects of their development. After-School programs for children ages 5-18, academics are the center of the curriculum and are supplemented by enrichment workshops. Food Program serves meals to our program and to homeless through a mobile soup kitchen. Martha’s Outfitter’s, clothing distribution center, provides low-cost clothing to the community.

Demetrios Recachinas - Food Program Manager
Joined Martha's Table in 01/2008. Before joining Martha’s Table he served as the chef and sous chef of restaurants in Washington, DC, Chicago and Seattle. He received degrees in International Relations and Chinese Studies from George Mason University and a culinary degree from the Art Institute of Seattle. From 1997 to 2005 he served in the Marine Corps Reserves a combat engineer.
