Grameen Shikkha Scholarship Program

Four students are now receiving financial support through GlobalGiving support. Two of the students are studying in university at undergraduate level, one has just completed higher secondary and and waiting for admission in college or university, and one is a high school student. The high school student Shahinur Islam also competed for a government scholarship at 8th grade level, secured a scholarship and was placed in the 'Talent Pool'.

Dear donors,

Thank you for your generous support of our project.

The following three students are currently receiving "Grameen Shikkha-GlobalGiving Scholarship", sponsored by GlobalGiving donor funds:

Mr. Ali Hossain (GS ID # 738), Ist Year Law (General), Islamic University of Bangladesh, Dhaka. He is receiving Tk. 500 per month.

Mr. Ishtiak Ahmed, (GS ID # 739), grade 12 (appeared at 2008 Higher Secondary or A Level finals) from Savar Model College, Dhaka district. He is receiving Tk. 500 per month.

Mr. Shahinur Islam, (GS ID # 740), grade 8, Shahrail High School, Singair sub-district, Manikganj district. He is receiving Tk. 250 per month.

Thanks to your support these deserving students are able to receive an education.
