In addition to our Waterfield Medical Center clinic, our team of Community Health Workers travel to 61 villages in Margibi County Liberia to provide basic health care services and hygiene education, check blood pressures and distribute worm tablets and vitamins. While in the villages our CHWs also disperse clothing, books and flipflops (a simple deterrent to parasites in the soil entering the body). These amazing Health Workers may be the only medical personnel villagers see during the year.
Our traditional midwives often accompany the CHWs to stress the importance of delivery of babies at our new state of the art Maternity Center at Waterfield.
Your support of this ministry greatly improves the quality of life for our Liberian friends.
