In Ho, the local diet of consists of very carbohydrate-heavy meals that often lack protein content necessary for proper growth and nutrition. As a result, a recent study has shown that 45% of children under the age of 5 in the Ho region are underweight for their height. As an intervention, we have established a child nutrition program, which teaches mothers how to properly supplement the diets of their children with protein-rich soybeans.
The program recently began training mothers in two of eight neighboring communities to become peer educators, monitoring the progress of soybean crops and growth of underweight children in their villages.

I'm really thrilled to inform you and all the students who helped to make the nutrition project a reality that finally the project has been launched today at the center.I cant wait but share the joy.
