Carolyn Aker - Project Leader, Fundraising and Implementation

Carolyn Aker, a development studies major from the class of 2012, has worked on numerous public service projects, most notably coordinating hosting for Japanese exchange students from Showa University. She loves writing about all aspects of Rainwater for Humanity and especially enjoys seeing the powerful reactions such a project evokes in people who had never given water scarcity a second thought.

Peter Boyer - Technical lead of engineers and architectures.

Peter will graduate from Brown with BSc in Structural Engineering. He is the International Projects Coordinator of Brown Engineers without Borders, overseeing 20 students in sustainable agricultural development project based in Kisumu, Kenya. He also organized the national BetterxDesign Conference, attended by over 300 professionals.

Christina Tang - Founder

Christina graduated from Brown University with a ScB in Environmental Science and BA in Economics in 2009. She started Rainwater for Humanity based on a research on Kuttanad’s water quality and management. She is currently working full time in Kuttanad, setting up RW4H’s organization structure and improving the prototype design.
