SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT TRAINING
PROJECT TITLE: PROMOTION OF ORGANIC FARMING IN THOOTHUKUDI
REPORT TITLE : SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
REPORT PERIOD: 16.03.12 to 15.04.12
3 different types of technologies were taught by us.
- TUB METHOD: Being used vegetable wastes, paddy hay and during , sugar solution mixture is used for her manufacture in this tub method. This tub must be kept always in dark place without sunlight. Earthworm should be poured out into this water.
- At their own land itself pit can be made (3x3x9 feet) measurement of pit should be at the bottom gravel should be spread upon the layer of gravel little amount sand should be kept, upon organic natural waste should be foddles. A mixture cow dung / cow urine should be poured after an interval of exhaustion. This layery methods should be repeated. At the top sugar solution / cow dung / cow urine should be mixed and poured out the pit must be in sheddy place earthworm also ……
- Polythen net bag method: 6 x 3 feet – polythen net bag was made / any organic waste can be put into this. Dried cow during should be used. Decayed vegetable wastes should be added above mixture was kept in bag. Mixture of cow dung urine and sugar solution was poured upon this this bag should not be affected snow / reyall or sunlight. Earthworm should be put upon the layer the top layer of bags was covered by the net. The above 3 methods solid waste management thro vermi composting was trained to our global giving aided target community.
- TRAINING ON ORGANIC FARMING: At out target village this training was offered on 02.04.2012 by Mr.Dhamotharan (Global Giving aided project manager) then trained was covered at two places. Then training was partially convened for the purpose of solid waste management / vermin composting we offered as follows.
- villages are rearing bulls / cows but the don’t uhlarze dungs properly.
- Once the major component of the vermin composty paddy has but they don’t uhlase even the hay.
- By the major ingredients s are available in the local village. we motivated them to unlarze those.
