Daniel is co-founder of the La Reserva Forest Foundation. He has dedicated the 100 acres of land that he owns, all of his time and effort to regenerate native forest because of his love for the wildlife. This is a daily sacrifice that repays him a thousand fold by seeing the proliferation of native animals and plants right up to his doorstep.
Omar has worked for 7 years in the La Reserva seedling nursery. An expert at locating and transplanting native seeds and seedlings, he is manager out in the field when preparing the land and planting the seedlings. He is also in charge of maintaining the seedlings for the first two years. Projects he manages hire crews of local workers.
Combined with other sources of funding, this project raised enough money to fund the outlined activities and is no longer accepting donations.
