The aim of the project is to provide orphaned children in Saint Petersburg city and region hospitals with daily nursing care.
Having provided orphaned children in hospitals with material support such as diapers, means of hygiene, toys and other, we faced with a banal problem - there was nobody to change these diapers, to look after children, to lift the toy that had fallen to a floor, to console, to feed in time. The hospital personnel due to great volume of their direct duties don't have a possibility to provide qualitative and timely care to orphaned children, who are so being needed in warm-heartedness and concern.
Within the framework of the project we hire trained nurses who have admission to work with seriously ill children. Day by day they deal with children deprived of parental attention, helping them in a difficult period of illness.
May 2012 - 20 permanent nursing posts have been founded in 10 hospitals (St. Olga children's hospital 4, children's infectious diseases hospital 3, Filatov's children's hospital 5, Pediatric Academy, Region hospital and so on).
it is not possible to replace mother's care, but it is quite possible to ease children's lives.
