This year has been a great success for GlobeMed at CU-Boulder. We not only hit our goal, but exceeded it. We helped fund various programs, ranging from education, health care to women’s empowerment.
From our Global Giving campaign, we were able to help Himalayan Health Car, our partner, to provide 10 women with 3 goats a piece. Our campaign “30 goats in 30 days” was very successful. Not only were we able to provide 30 goats, but we were able to help fund for cook stoves and latrines to several families as well. We are helping make vast changes for the better in the lives of these Kami women.
Over 1,500 lives have been impacted by this project, due the importance of the women in the care taking of many people in those communities. However, there is always a need for more goats, cook stoves and latrines in these rural areas of Nepal. With the use of goats, cook stoves and latrines, women in rural areas are able to feed and keep their families healthy.
Thank you for your continued support! You are making an immensely positive impact on the lives of thousands of rural Nepalese, through your support of the Kami women!
