Vera Wiatt founded Faith in Practice with her husband, Joe, in 1992. Since that time, under the leadership of Vera and Joe, Faith in Practice has grown to serve more than 20,000 patients each year. Vera is the director of the Faith in Practice surgery program, which provides 1,200 Guatemalans with life-changing surgery every year.
