Project Personnel

BEverly Gilbert Stone - Director

Beverly Stone holds a B.S. in pre-med/zoology and a teaching certificate. Following a varied employment path including family(raising 4 sons), food service, health, and education, she completed her Masters degree in Counseling and headed a multi faceted adult education program. In 1997, a volunteer teaching experience in Kenya resulted in the formation of the organization and its projects.

Peter Maina Munene - Program Developer

Peter is a recent graduate in Social Work. He holds both the title of Manager of the Joseph Waweru Home School and Program Developer for Expanding Opportunities:Kenya. He resides at the Joseph Waweru Home School with the boys and often identifies needy children, visits the schools, arranges the construction and delivery of desks and school supplies and monitors the progress of the children.
