Global Reach International has been disbursing the funds to those in need. On January 19th we visited some areas that were hit the hardest. After traveling to these areas it was surprising on how little has been done to rebuild. Many homes are still inhabitable.
Our focus was to make sure money went directly to those who really needed it. Below are some of the photos from our previous trip. We have asked locals to share their photos and stories in the coming weeks. Money has been distributed in the following way.
Union County EMS, Union Beach New Jersey has received $5000.00 to rebuild their EMS station back to what is was before.
Suffern Rotary Club: $500.00 for their relief of Hurricane Sandy
Great Neck Rotary Club: $500.00 for their relief of Hurricane Sandy
Home Depot Cards: Ranging from $150-$400 to local communities hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy.
There is still many EMS and Fire Stations that need our help to rebuild their stations. Any support will be grealty appreciated. We thank you for your support in helping those who lost so much.
