Dear Valued Supporter,
The Humane Society of South Mississippi is celebrating 10 years of life-saving accomplishments in the Aschaffenburg Animal Campus. Our organization has grown and increased the live release rate in these 10 years from 38% to 78% eliminating the euthanasia of healthy adoptable animals in our care. We have performed 102,578 spay and neuter surgeries thus exponentially reducing pet overpopulation in our community. Over 45,000 homeless pets have been adopted by loving families and our Love Train has transported 8,411 pets into other parts of the country where they were adopted. We have microchipped 36,750 animals ensuring these animals can be easily reunited with their owners. We have reunited 8,349 lost pets with their owners and placed 20,659 sick or injured animals into foster homes.
With your support, our impact can be even greater over the next 10 years.
Wags and wet noses,
HSSM Staff
