Provision of social-emotional skills

Arsen, our youngest new beneficiary
Arsen, our youngest new beneficiary

Dear Donors,

We are pleased to announce that this program is being supplemented with new beneficiaries. It is important for us to provide them with social-emotional skills and help the children of the target group to get basic education. Education is paramount in the normal life process of the beneficiaries. It is important for children to cover topics such as social skills, time management, anger management and etc. It is also important to inculcate the idea of "teamwork" among them and explain its role and importance in everyday life. Our ongoing seminars help them fill in the missed school knowledge and develop "life skills". The seminar consisted of individual and team segments.

During individual work, they were assigned to present the situations that happened in their life and to give what kind of behavior they showed, that is, positive or negative. This is important and helps them understand the consequences of their actions and build healthy relationships. During the other work, they had to recall again the situations that happened in their life, during which they felt intense anger. In addition, it was required to address the motives and situations that lead them astray. This work helps to control anger. Thus, this part of the seminar was aimed at the development of social-emotional skills of the beneficiaries, self-expression, self-presentation, as well as anger management.

We present to you our smallest beneficiary Arsen, who has just joined our program and his message.

Hi, I'm Arsen. I am the youngest in this program. It was very interesting and effective for me to participate in this seminar, because I have the opportunity to make new friends, fill in my missing knowledge, and also acquire important life skills. Throughout the seminar, I felt relaxed and, most importantly, I was confident in my abilities. I liked the fact that we had the opportunity to work as a team. I will definitely participate in the next meetings and I hope this program will continue. Thank you.

Dear Donors,

It is encouraging for us to hear the positive reactions of the beneficiaries and to realize that the program is reaching the milestone it has set. Your every step, gesture encourages our team to do the best possible. Working with children is not easy and requires a lot of effort and pedagogical skills.

The program will expand the scope of its activities, including children from other communities.
