This project assists the Community Development Center (CDC) to feed 17 orphaned and helpless children of Sarita Children Home at Samakhusi in Kathmandu,Nepal and save them from malnutrition and disease as well as support them go to school,obtain quality education and dependent in their future life.
There is an orphanage entitled Sarita Children Home at Samakhusi in Kathmandu. A 45 year old unmarried woman Sarita Khandka has been running it by opening a shop and also collecting donations for six years.Now there are 17 orphaned,hapless children (7girls and 10 boys) from 4 to 13 years old. For some months Sarita has been suffering from back ache and taking medicines.She has been unable earn money and feed them as well as pay for their school bills and other administrative cost.
This project will help collect donations from private donors, charitable organizations and individuals to help Sarita feed her 17 orphaned and helpless children and pay for their school education bills medical bills, house rent as wll as other maintenance costs and help run the organization smoothly.
With the help of the project the 17 children will be able to have enough food to eat, medical treatment, obtain quality education and will be self dependent in their future life
As one of the founding member's of CDC Nepal , I hope the project will help bring change to the lives of these 17 orphaned and helpless children in Nepal
