Plans are being made for the newest program at Cedar Village, the additon of an Aquatic Therapy Center. In early 2013, construction of the new Aquatic Therapy Center will begin. The center will include a large warm water therapy pool for classes and group work as well as two individual therapy pools with hydraulic lifts for one-on-one treatments. The benefits of warm water therapy are very significant. Due to the buoyancy of the water, warm water therapy is a powerful tool for recovery making exercise possible without strain on the joints. The Aquatic Therapy Center will serve both inpatients and outpatients from the community.
