We remain hopeful of rebuilding lives in Gaza

Thank you for supporting Gardens, Goats, and More--a program that has been helping 16 families become financially independent by teaching them husbandry and agriculture.

Now, this program is needed the most as it offers important opportunities to rehabilitate life in Gaza. What could be more important in a war-torn country than self-sufficiency and food security?

The reality is, however, that we must balance our hopes for the future with a grim reality. Sadly, we have not had correspondence with any of the 16 families in the Gardens and Goats program since October 7th. We grieve their absence yet pray for the best. We continue our outreach and search for the families in the program. We know the day will come when there is a ceasefire. When that day comes, we will need all hands on deck.

Amidst the challenges, Rebuilding Alliance strides forward with unwavering determination to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people of Palestine. In partnership with the World Food Programme, and in just one remarkable week of mid-February, our team provided 242,227 warm meals across Gaza, a significant expansion from the 4,000 weekly meals previously managed by Mrs. Najah's kitchen. Our trajectory of growth in serving those in need is truly inspiring.

Now, as we look to the future, we are excited to reinvigorate the Gardens and Goats program, poised to redefine resilience and sustainability. This initiative isn't just about recovery; it's about empowering families in Gaza to create self-sustaining livelihoods, built upon the pillars of agriculture and animal husbandry. Your continued support propels these families towards financial independence, enabling them to cultivate their lands and raise livestock. Together, we're not only nurturing life from the ground up but also instilling hope and fostering a sense of autonomy.

Join us as we prepare for a brighter tomorrow, ready to act at the moment of ceasefire and stability. Your contribution truly makes a difference, ensuring that when peace prevails, we are on the ground, supporting the rebirth of thriving communities. Thank you for being a part of Gardens, Goats, and More—a beacon of hope that shines brightly, thanks to your generosity.
