This project helps secondary students get an education. After years of war, people are returning to native villages in Gulu. Education is crucial for children and communities to become sustainable.
After close to twenty years of war in northern Uganda, East Africa, people living in refugee camps are returning to their native villages in Gulu. The problem is that Lukome Secondary School has no floors or educational materials. Education is crucial to helping these people regain a quality of life for years to come. Our project will help rebuild the school providing students with an education. They in turn will help the community become sustainable once again.
Donations for our project will rebuild the school helping the entire community become sustainable. The school isn't functional and the community has no resources to make needed improvements.
This school would be an epicenter of hope for 400 children and the villagers in the community. Rebuilding the school would help the people of Gulu become sustainable for years to come.
