As we approach the conclusion of another impactful year, we are excited to share the success stories of our recent graduates from Kenya and celebrate their remarkable accomplishments.
Throughout this year, we supported 221 scholars in various secondary schools across Kenya. We are proud to announce that the 48 girls in their final year of high school have successfully completed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.
Additionally, six of our scholars are on track to complete their 4-year university courses. Four have already graduated this year, and two are anticipated to graduate in the spring.
Among these accomplished graduates is Florence, a recipient of the WGEP scholarship since 2012. Raised by a single mother in a rural Kenyan village, Florence has graduated with honors in the upper division, earning her Bachelor of Education Arts in Mathematics and Geography from Tharaka University.
Thanks to your help, we will continue to empower girls like Florence. Your donation will continue to contribute to scholarships, essential resources, and support systems that empower girls to overcome challenges and realize their educational aspirations.
